You will be interested to see a new complication in the greening of the world–China is demanding further exemption from making any cuts in emissions.China is claiming developing countries have the responsibility to do “much more” than China to stop global warming because they have a “historical responsibility,” being the countries that caused the warming happening so far.
China called the developed countries “culprits” in bringing about climate change in the first place. This ambassador is the head of the Chinese presence in the United Nations General Assembly debate on climate change.
Bali is just a few months in the past and the makeshift meeting solicited by president Bush followed that. Now the UN is already talking again about what countries are willing or able to do to stop global warming.
The United States and China are the two biggest polluters in the world. Some say in recent years China has started to pollute even more than the US. The Bush administration was not willing to cut emissions when China and India were not required to do so.
Yu Qingtai, the Chinese ambassador, said China was a “victim” of the global warming caused by developed nations and that it is “not logical” to ask China to cut emissions as much as a developed country.
Though China is now polluting as much as the US, Qingtai cites the population difference. China has four times as many people as the US. He claims Americans are claiming an “emission entitlement right” with fewer people but as much pollution.
Greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide are polluting the world in ever-increasing amounts, blamed for warming the world like a greenhouse traps in the heat of the sun but does not let it escape.
Many scientists all over the world agree in a consensus on global warming. And they are not alone. Jesus Christ predicted the end of the world too and His Prediction is frighteningly like what has begun to happen now.
Jesus taught the simple parable of the fig tree: when the fig tree starts to blossom, you know that summer is near. That “summer” is how Jesus described the end of the world.
And that “summer” is what scientists agree the end of the world is coming as. Spring, fall, and winter are getting more and more like summer every year. Scientists say there will be mass extinctions of species.
Those extinctions will culminate with the end of human life on earth. Humans can not survive on an uninhabitable planet either. They will not be able to grow food when plant species start to go extinct.
And natural disasters are on the rise. As the delicate balance of the ecosystem of the earth is tipped, there are more floods and droughts, more windstorms and wildfires. And those natural disasters are more severe when they happen.
When you are sealed you will start to focus on your eternal home in Heaven. You will have no more hope for your life here on earth. You will have no posterity, no legacy to leave to anyone anymore.
When you are sealed you will be ready to give up your life in this world. You will hope only in Heaven when you can live with God for eternity when you receive the Seal.
